I went back out to the same site last weekend that I've gone to in the past, but at the break of daylight. It was hard to drag my butt out of bed on a Saturday at 0515, but once I'm up and I know I'm going to play with my camera I'm a happy camper. The last few times that I've been on site it was late in the day which created harsh shadows, so I thought I'd try early morning. No matter the weather in south Florida, I always wear long pants and a long sleeve shirt. Not only do the long pants and shirt protect against the sun, but I never know what I might be walking through or whether I'll be on my knees or laying on the ground. And yes, lets not forget mosquitoes which just love me. I'd rather spray the deet on my clothing then directly on my skin. This came in handy on this particular trip when I discovered an abandoned swimming pool on the property which was a perfect mosquitoe breeding ground. This explained the swarms of mosquitoes.
